Ben Schwefel performs industry research and data analysis, and writes on the legal and regulatory trends that relate to corporate governance and executive compensation. He also has experience working with corporate clients in the design and administration of compensation plans, evaluating equity grant practices, drafting employment contracts, and other business contracts. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from University of California, San Diego, Ben is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of San Diego School of Law.
As an Associate Member on the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law, Ben is authoring a student comment on the use of sustainability performance-based compensation in executive compensation plans. In 2014-2015, Ben will be serving as a Comments Editor on the Editorial Board of the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law.
